Welcome to the ABSITE Review Course
For over twenty years, this original, longest-running and largest such course in the country has helped surgical residents prepare for the ABSITE examination via three live in-person (2-day) intensive review courses offered in November, December and January each year. The course includes lectures on important topics in both basic and clinical sciences of surgery, and is based on the SCORE curriculum. In addition, a manual containing the presented material is provided to all the participants. The course’s ultimate goal has always been that it would result in a markedly improved score on your ABSITE exam.COVID UPDATE
Due to the Covid -19 pandemic, we will not be able to follow a similar format this year. We do hope to continue to serve surgical residents in search of a organized, comprehensive and high-yield review virtually this year.
The ABSITE REVIEW COURSE took place virtually this year on the weekend of November 14th and 15th The entire two day course was videotaped in its entirety and can be viewed by those that have registered to take the course. The course is open for registration at any time with a cost is $375. Once you have completed the registration form, you will be sent the link to watch each of the four parts (approximately 4-5 hours each) of the total course. You will be able to watch at any time up until the end January 2021. You will also be mailed the book of the course which contains nearly all the information discussed and can be used to follow along with the recording. Questions from those registered can be sent to our email address at any time. The link to the recordings will be available the first week of December, but registration can be done at any time.
